TEXTILE ART REACHES MASSES

The 2009 took the event to another level, as it introduced the concept of multiple locations and multiple events. More than 30,000 people visited the Biennial.

The Biennial focused on those artists that made a choice to express themselves with TEXTILES, giving a stronger meaning to the term TEXTILE ART. The Biennial brought artists from all over the globe, that took their techniques to a completely new dimension by introducing not only innovative techniques but also different technologies.

• Reinforce the term TEXTILE ART
• Promote changes and promote education on TEXTILE ART as an authentic form of expression
