WTA Biennials

The WTA Biennials are international exhibitions of contemporary textile art together with an educational and cultural agenda led by the most important icons of the World of Textile Art. TI takes place every two years in different parts of the world. The event is organized through a very complex selection process that selects the best and most important works of art to participate in the event. World-class curators and guest judges are part of a unique arts and culture event that has already visited North, Central and South America since its inception. Each Biennale attracts some of the most important people in the textile world who come together in seminars, special events, fairs and workshops. Each Biennial has attracted artists from all continents and has left an important mark on each of the cities that have hosted the event. Along with all the art and culture that is shared at each event, the Organization has committed not only funds but also time and other types of resources to help visually impaired people become part of the wonderful world of textiles. The workshops and special events have been very exciting and full of energy and spirit to help others.
